The Ten Commandments of Narcissism:
1. Thou shalt prioritize thine own needs above all else.
2. Thou shalt expect admiration and attention from others at all times.
3. Thou shalt manipulate situations to thy advantage.
4. Thou shalt lack empathy and disregard others' feelings.
5. Thou shalt be grandiose in thy self-importance.
6. Thou shalt take credit for others' work and ideas.
7. Thou shalt be entitled to special treatment.
8. Thou shalt be arrogant and haughty in thy demeanor.
9. Thou shalt exploit others for thine own gain.
10. Thou shalt never take responsibility for thy actions.
These commandments highlight key aspects of narcissistic behavior.
The Judge, Jury and Executioner
Narcissists often engage in internal mental gymnastics that allow them to:
1. Justify their actions: They rationalize their behavior, shifting blame or denying responsibility.
2. Distort reality: They manipulate their perception of events to fit their narrative.
3. Self-validate: They seek internal confirmation of their own superiority.
This internal process leads to a self-reinforcing cycle where the narcissist becomes their own:
Judge, Jury and Executioner of the other people around them:
- Judge: They decide what's right or wrong for others around them, based on their own biased perspective.
- Jury: They convict others of perceived wrong doings while acquitting themselves of the Actual Wrong Doings.
- Executioner: They Hand Out a Verdict punishment to others around them when things go wrong, often through emotional manipulation or aggression.
This internal dynamic makes it challenging for narcissists to acknowledge their own flaws and take responsibility for their actions.
Ironically, in reference to analyzing the last quarter of a narcissists life on earth;
.......The Judge, Jury and Executioner example stated above becomes their own internal Slave Shackles of Imprisonment;
....... as in the last quarter of a narcissists life on earth, much knowledge can be ascertained in applying this judicial analogy to the narcissists internal self workings rather than their external manipulations towards others that they have endlessly projected on to others their whole entire life thus far;
....... as in:
The narcissist being their own internal:
Judge, Jury and Executioner:
- Judge: They initially justify their self centered actions, but ultimately, their own self inflicted flaws and botched behaviors catch up to them.
- Jury: Unbeknownst to them, their ill actions and behaviors are judged by their own Internally Shrill Conscience as a result of the consequences of their own self centered actions, leading to a form of self-condemnation in their older age.
- Executioner: Their own self-destructive tendencies and ill behaviors ultimately lead to their downfall, damaging their relationships, reputation, and their own well-being.
This highlights the long-term consequences of narcissistic behavior, including:
- Reputational damage
- Strained relationships
- Emotional turmoil
- Self-sabotage
